Welcome
Welcome to St. Albert the Great's
Children's Liturgy on the web. Children's
Liturgy is a volunteer run program that teaches the Liturgy of the Word in
terms children can understand. The
program is designed for children aged 4 to 7 years. Children older than 7 are welcome to
attend until they
have received first communion. We
welcome preschoolers as long as they are capable of sitting and listening to
a story in a group setting. Parents
are welcome to attend with their children until their child feels comfortable
attending on their own. Children's
Liturgy is available at all masses, where we share the word of God, sing to
God and create a craft or do an activity. Children's Liturgy will start September 18, 2004 and continue except for holidays and
long weekends until June 18,2005. Registration
is on going. The fee is ten
dollars per child for the year to pay for craft materials, nametags, and
stickers. You may find
registration forms on the Children's Liturgy name tag table. Please fill out registration form and leave
with fee in the folder provided.
Registration form may also
be down loaded from this web sight and either left in for mentioned folder or
may be put in collection plate.
As our young
parish continues to grow we are always in need of teachers, assistant
teachers and assistants. We have
units of three to four weeks that we ask you commit to. You do not need to be a teacher in
order to teach. Our program is very
easy to follow. We have sheets
with the gospel and discussion questions as well as craft ideas, so there is
little preparation time. If you
would like to help out with our growing ministry we would love to hear form
you. Please contact the
coordinator for which mass you are interested in helping with:
